Alienware m18x or m17x r4?

not that i know of. i was actually thinking why Dell discard the Alienware boxes and then use plain brown boxes to ship outlet models in. i wonder what they do with all the original boxes and bits and pieces which comes with a new build?

MetalfaceMark. I'd be really interested in your laptop but sadly I don't have access to the market as a new user? Are you selling it anywhere else? I'd be interested since no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get myself a new R4 :mad:

I kept mine from my r3 i might ebay it then :)
 
A new buyer with funds enters the fray. I predict 4 7970s with 1080p screens to be listed tomorrow! Only got a week before i leave as-well...this will be cutting it fine!

Any recommendations for Ram? Looking for the cheapest sets to allow 32gb as i will be processing a lot of information. Ive seen is 16gb for £80, any better offers around?
 
Its rare to find ones with 16gb on two sticks on the MM, actually Im pretty sure mine has been the only one that has came up (only one I saw anyway when I look), so chances are you are going to have to bump the ram thats in it and get 32gb.

These bigger sets are never cheap.
 
I have seen 16GB of corsair 1600 for that.

I think that's what he means, get one with 2x8GB and buy another 2x8GB or a great deal on a 8GB model and then slap the 2 16GB kits in.

Well ive had a little lucky week so hopefully it extends!:p Ive been looking for the past month but only been paid now, so now i look to buy!



Yeah im after the sets such as 2x8 or 4x8 as i will replace what the laptop comes with and sell it

Overclocked with 940 / 1400 - Thanks for your help mark, got GPU-Z logging temps so will keep an eye on them tonight to make sure there OK

Whats the Physics score based on? Wonder why i got less points this time round :)
