City's defence was pretty damn good last season wasnt it? Lescott answered a lot of his critics. It's not his fault the huge amount City paid for him. He was very consistent along side Kompany.
Apparently Southampton are going to announce a signing tomorrow with Gaston Ramirez, Carlos Fierro and Yohan Benalouane names banded about.
Any of the 3 = sex wee and all 3 is pretty much unbelievable (otherwise known as the internet going mad). Hope Benalouane turns up just because we need a CB (now desperately), chances of Ramierez just sound hilarious and Fierro is FM gold so probably isn't real.
Mad transfer speculation is fun though!(seeing as nothing's happened for weeks since we got Clyne and Davis sorted and we're all a little nervy)
But then we can have another bash at winning the championship...
So...why haven't we gone for Sahin![]()
To be honest, that's debatable![]()
Spurs have gone from being arguably the third best side in the league to now being about the 6th (Newcastle, Everton & Chelsea all moving ahead of them)
Maybe they just can't get anyone to buy him?
heh you would be right if you had first refusal to buy if he was any good
If he does well, he'd probably see that as a good chance of getting some game time at Real Madrid (I'd have said the same had he joined Arsenal). Players tend to force moves TO Madrid, not away.
Alonso is going soon though isn't he? That would open up a space for Sahin.
