@ all North Easterners

So just to let you all know I went back last weekend.
This time I was there for 2 days instead of just 1 night.

We went to Tiger Tiger on Friday night - it was raining all trip like REALLY awful weather
but women still came out in their skirts! Strange I found some women hard to understand I guess over time things become better.

What is it with the accent up there? In that it is so different to rest of UK. damnnn

also had a ride on the metro lol it's like a mini london underground system you got there but with far less people :)

Also saw that metro centre in Gateshead I didn't know it is the biggest shopping centre in UK!! I thought bullring was big obviously not!

London is what you make of it, but I agree living in inner London is far from ideal, hence me moving further and further south as time goes on.

2002 - 2007: Zone 2
2008 - 2009: Zone 3
2010 - present: Zone 4
Future: Hopefully somewhere nice in Surrey or Kent.

My experience of the midlands and north has been limited to visits to Notts, Brum and Sheffield, the first 2 being fun for clubbing (trance, not commerical) and Sheffield being the most depressing hole I have ever experienced. :p

not been to sheffield, leeds, nottingham yet but would like to see it
in my life I want to see as much of england as I can

There really aren't many cities that I do like, London especially was too much for me... Can imagine it has a lot to do with what you get used to.

There are good and bad points for all places. (Although some have more of one than the other).

Not anymore it isn't. Loads of places have shut down and the 2 most popular clubs are utter garbage. One would be alright if it had some girls in it but it's jammed full with horny blokes.

Redcar is like something out of Resident Evil and Stockton is just full of chavs.

Yarm is your best bet but it can be quite expensive.

Too true :( :p

I thought Plymouth was rough till I moved to Middlesbrough... lollllllllllllllllll getting out of this ****ing hellhole soon as I can.

That's your aspiration? I suppose it's a start.

well if we are talking aspirations I would say seeing the world would be the main one however due to my circumstances, it is more feasible to start with England first :)

Are we in the same Middlesbrough?!

Location:Stockton ???

Around Middlesbrough town centre is a bit rough but Stockton town centre is worse than Baghdad .

I live on the outskirts of boro and Ive never had a problem . Infact the only areas id totally avoid are classed as Redcar and even then if your are ok with people they will be ok with you

Newcastle is great though . Spent a good few years there . Also has its must avoid areas but they're mostly on the outskirts
