Struggled for the defence and im sure someone would be able to pick a better defence than me.

pick players based on how good they are at there prime. EG nevlile becuase he WAS good

Cole plays on the left actually. Here's mine although it seems to change every time I think about it. I realise the positions are vague but I can't be bothered going into any more detail than an old fashioned 4-4-2.

Quite surprised that nobody has picked Gerrard. I mean the way I read the OP we were supposed to pick players based on their prime, ie. judging players by their skill at their prime not judging them by their team as a whole. Maybe I read it wrong though.
