Good to see, either dangerous by force, diseases or cross breeding, is all good in my eyes, we need a serious animal in this country that isn't a bloody dog.We had an escaped Japanese macaque on the loose in the Highlands a few weeks ago.
It's too early to tell if it bred with the local haggis.
well yeah, i know you can get all kinds of venomous stuff, i just thought there was rules about things that could be classed as invasive species for the risk of them getting loose. i must be misremembering something. You’ll be amazed what reptile dealers get hold of, especially ones with DWA licenses. Crocs, cobras, mambas, Rattlers. They can get hold of anything
They're properly dangerous, too.
They have a horrific bite, and can take a chunk out of you.
wonder where it came from, i'd be surprised if any reptile dealers would stock it.
Bristolians are causing concern?Global warming innit.
The dangerous reptile invasion is only going to get worse. The crocodile population in Bristol is already causing concerns.

Last year a bloke came to talk to me after my gig, I saw his snake tattoos, he claimed he had 213 snakes with 30 of them being dangerous.
I asked if he'd got a Black Mamba and he said he had both black and green so I said you need you to prove this.
I went to his house in a place called Weston Coyney and in his back garden he had a huge shed with them all in there.
I thought it was a bit cruel because the majority were just in plastic boxes with holes drilled in them.
He's not allowed to sell the dangerous snakes but he has a license to keep them.
Personally I think a shed that scrotes can get into and pour them all out isn't a very safe place.
He said he could get his hands on anything.
We have a local shop called The Unconventional Menagerie in Longton Stoke and I pay many visits to it, it's not unusual to see dangerous snakes, arctic foxes and baby alligators - https://www.theunconventionalmenagerie.co.uk

That’s what I was thinking. Surprised so many people don’t know about them alreadyThe amount of people who don't watch David Attenborough documentaries is astounding.
It was a cool place to visit, but I remember thinking "why the hell would anyone buy a reticulated python?"
Considering they naturally live in Lousiana swamps I'd say not. They're freshwater turtles - someone dumped it in there from a terrarium theres no other explanation. The only surprising thing is it survived at all its bloody freezing in cumbriaIf it was near the coast, I wonder if it arrived on the gulf stream?
River water in Cumbria must be not much above freezing during winter, surprised the turtle was coping in it, given they are usually found in water much closer to approx 20C+.
Brian Barczyk's Reptarium has a chunky brute called Bowser, iirc he's approx 125 pounds these days, still growing and moving across the road to Lega Sea in the next month or so.
No, Brian bought the unit opposite The Reptarium last year to turn it into an interactive zoo. Once Brian was diagnosed with cancer there were some delays because of finances, guessing they stand a chance of being open around Easter this year, but a lot of the big on-site built tanks have leaks that need sorting.Moving due to Bryan passing away?
I saw the video last night its only a juvenile its tiny, fully grown they're huge they're nearly a metre across with a head the size of a football, I'm guessing its already grown too big for someone's tank and they thought they were doing it a favourImagine that at 80kg! That’s the same as a light heavyweight boxer.
