Ok so I wasn't that excited by the looks of this game but after watching this trailer, I can't wait!

A spy version of Mass Effect? Sounds good to me!

They're also the guys behind Fallout New Vegas, Neverwinter Nights and Knights of the Old Republic 2.

Neverwinter Nights 2 actually :D But yeah ive been following this game for a while and think it looks excellent, have got it on preorder for the PC.

I've had an eye on this for well over a year now. Fingers crossed it turns out as well as I've been hoping. I think PC will be the usual £15 cheaper and look nicer in the end, depends on how well the controls translate to rodent and board, though.

So this was at home waiting for me yesterday and I played the first couple of hours. Sadly it isn't very good. I'm hoping it picks up but the conversation seems to swing randomly, not even based on choice. One minute a character doesn't like you being swarve and then the next sentance they love it.

Stealth seems very hard to do and you don't really get punished, so far anyway, for just going in guns blazing.

So to summarise so far I'm quite disappointed because I really thought a spy RPG could be great. Aren't these guys also in charge of the new Fallout game? Hope that isn't as poor!

This is my worry. I know there was a lot of outside factors involved in ruining KotOR2, and that as it stood they did really make some nice improvements to the how the game played, it was just put out before it was finished. But this doesn't really instil me with confidence.

Yeah, I was looking forward to it, given they did KotoR2 - however, the reviews have been mixed, and it almost seems to have been a stealth release. Going to have to wait for word of mouth before buying this one.

Managed to play this today in the local shop.

I don't think I could be more dissapointed, trying to mesh rpg with stealth sounded like a great idea on paper, but in practice it was fairly awful.

30 minutes isn't exactly a lot of time to truly know a game, but I knew I didn't want to pay full price for it.

One for the bargain bin or a gaming dry spell I think.

This game looks horrible from the gameplay videos I've seen of it.

Wouldn't even pick it up for £5 it looks that bad.... and I bought Lair for £7.50!

Damn it, I had my eye on this one as well, it sounded really interesting.
Such a shame - sounds like it's not even worth a rent?

Picked this up on steam, played through the tutorial to the part where you have to learn to hack and not played it since. The Hacking is absolutley appauling.

Other issues I encountered are Alt+Tab = Black screen when you go back. Also the system for hiding behind cover and moving is totally rubbish.

Also if you dont own a Controller the controls are totally rubbish. The mouse is far to slow for turning etc. and isnt adjustable.

All in all it is cack, I'll prob try to play it again some point in the future but I'd rather play Red Dead Redemption, Street Fighter, TF2 or MW2 tbh.

A total let down in my opinion.

Most console owners have got a controller to play it with on their consoles :D
:p

Wow what a shock, a game by the guys behind NWN2 and Kotor 2 is a let down? Guess they haven't learnt from the past then, this doesn't bode well for the new Fallout :(

The story element looks really good, but the game's let down by the actual gameplay which looks really bad :(
(according to reviews) so yeah let's hope they don't screw fallout up, although surely they can't because the fallout gameplay style has already been created, as long as they don't touch that it should be ok?
[clutches at straws]

The covering system makes it near impossible to play this game in a stealth manner. It's probably the worst covering system I've played. When you have the option to move from cover to cover it ends up exposing you since it doesn't actually keep you in cover once you've moved.

Going to give it another go today before deciding to stick it on ebay.
