Are there any recommendations for a different case choice to a Wavemaster?

I've heard mixed reviews on the case and wondering whether it is the best choice for my new build.

Not looking to overclock straight away, but potential in the future would be handy regards cooling etc.

Looking at something below the £100 mark without PSU.

Akasa Eclipse, Lian Li PC7+/007

There are quite a few, just depends on if you like the styling or not.

The eclipse is probably the best case for the cooling out there, especially sub £100 but it has one flaw, a plastic front.

I've got a coolermaster, its not that bad cooling - its just the others are better so thats why everyone mentions the difference.
I've got two 80mm fans in the front, one at the back and I replaced the top panel bit with a 80mm fan and a black grill, plus my PSU has a exhause fan, its not too bad just the front intakes arent the best as the air has to come through little holes.

I've got a Barton 2500@3200 and a Leadtek 6800gt - I'm guessing this stuff is hotter than the new AMD64's (my bartons vcore is 1.725) and the newer graphics cards (my leadtek 680gt has a massive copper cooler on it).

CPU Idles around 39, load 44, gpu idle 50-52, load around 66 highest in games, 73 highest in ATI Tool.

Its a good capeable case, using one for my next show rig :)

Based on the 201 chasis, not a bad case at all, can be made silent quite easily and lots of modding potential.

What is it about the Lian_Li that makes it stand out so much in many peoples opinions?

The cooling is carried out by 2 120mm fans, and an optional upgrade of a 92mm on the top, but other than this???

Also, does this case come with the Blue Fans as standard... say from the OC website.

There are some being shipped with the blue fans, the 007 model.

Its jsut built well, and exceptional value for money.

Its just great!

Full set of 5v SilenX fans would do it.

It is as simple as that :)

-With good graphics card and CPU cooling of course.

whoa, this is a fairly high knowledge forum. dont go recommending silentX fans. They are an expensive mistake.

I think SilenX fans are supposed to be quiet but not as quiet as they state 14db. As an alternative to the wavemaster id go with Yewens suggestion of the PC-7, it'll have better cooling with 120mm fans and also very close in the looks department. Plus you'll have some change to spend on a decent fan controller and a set of decent fans, i.e Nexus fans are highly rated amongst OCUK members.

Ok cool, so I#m converted to the PC-7. Just gotta decide which one to buy....

Which will be the best out of the Lian-Li range of PC models? The ones with the CPU duct look ok but as Yewen said are old basic designs.

What is the latest PC7 case to come out? The one with the blue LED fans?!
