Haven't had time this last week.. irritating place. You can only phone during office hours to get a booking (9-5) which means I'm stuck having to try and do it during my lunch break, something I haven't had much of this past week. Should be doing it today with any joy.
 
Garp phoned today and got told that they don't do 6 adult rooms, the only 6 people rooms are for 4 adults and 2 children

I'm guessing Piggy could be one of the children but whos the other? Perhaps next time you could tell us when we're meant to lie to get a booking :p

Well I've managed to clear space on my CC so I'll have a go tomorrow - just to confirm: B&B Splash Landings Hotel with Waterpark and Themepark entrance - right?

If you dig around the website it mentions about 6 people rooms and having to book them over the phone, but the lady I spoke to was absolutely adamant that they did not do such rooms, nor have they ever done so.

I'm thinking someone needs to go in for re-training.
 
Is anything major sporting-wise going on then? If not i'd like to add my interest in everything going on :D:D:D. Wanted to go last year but couldn't make it due to prior arrangements.

Bunking up with anyone who will be kind enough to accept me (:().

No idea but it's on a Thursday and Friday so you should be fine .. will pop you on the list - let me know ASAP when you are a definate then you can join the bunking up list :)

I'll just guess with no, I’m not in work until Thursday that’s when I can book my days off, or find out that I can’t. So I’ll be cleared by Thursday, but I doubt there will be reason not allowing me to take days off.

Can't believe I’ve missed this thread since the 7th Jan =/ I would have said yes then if I’d seen it.

I'd book the B&B tomorrow (since I’m conveniently off) but I can’t say 100% that I’ll be off!

All booked :D Total cost was £369.00 so it looks like the price may be going up the closer to the date you book - anyone else looking to book should probably do it ASAP

Originally the woman said they could only put 4 adults in a room, but when I pointed out some friends had already booked a 6 adult room and there may be others doing the same she changed her mind :)
 
She was talking like she was on fast-forward the whole time - took all my concentration to work out what the hell she was saying :o
