Yep, you're bugged. I've had that stepping under my Mach II GT and it bugged at around -5C.

As people have said before, the B2 mem controller is notorious for being cold bugged.

Edit: Noticed you got your eye on a CABYE, those are the best Opterons for handling cold so I'd go for that one.

The N00B with the CABYE stepping Opty is want my arm and 3 legs as well as *ahem* for it which is so totaly overrated. Have tested his knowleg about phase and i'd say he aint bumpet the price due to that.
 
Nope, the dude a totaly N00B on the pc front and trading side

He's asking way to much for a 144

He only ran it at stock

He don't overclock

He has no idea on phase let alone water

I think that clarifies it all.

I was wrong to even concider letalone get the bits to go amd. totaly waste of funds but meh what i've always preached has now been confered and i havent even ran the rig. I'm back to Intel through and through

you right about intel though, say what you like, its deffinately the platform to go for if you like your cpus cold

That the NEW ones are B2 and the OLDER ones are BN

everyone in the know, knows that the BN steppings did extremely well in the cold. Which is why the top stepping of optys to get is CABNE 0530

Fatty's is not B2, otherwise he wouldnt get past 3.2ghz...

Currently the best mem controllers and BN and BH on the Manchester X2's
