Hi there,

Basically guys, I want to buy another supra.

After the demise of my last non turbo affair, I got sensible and upgraded my day to day car (Polo) to a lovely Seat Ibiza Cupra. However I can't help wanting another Supra, one to the tune of a UK spec twin turbo.

Anyone who know anything about them, will know the UK spec is the halo of all supra's.

The problem is I can't afford to run two cars again.

So the only way for me to get a supra would be too sell my existing car, which is mental. Effectively going from a 2011 car to a 1995 one. This doesn't bother me but the fact it is old, that it will cost me £££ and it will mean I will lose a fair chunk off my car already means that it will make sense to keep what I have.

I keep having this burning desire for another Supra again and I can't explain why?! Someone talk some sense into me!

L2Drive properly first ;)

In all seriousness just keep the Cupra and get save for a newer better more safe and reliable performance car.

There's no logic behind it, it's a purely heart over head decision. It could cost you dearly, or it could be a huge barrel of fun.

With this in mind, it's your choice. Just don't crash it. ;)

Do whatever will make you happy on a day to day basis, I'll go further & say on a minute to minute basis.
You don't regret things you do, Only the things you don't do. ;)

If you can afford to lose money on the Ibiza and can afford the running costs of the Supra, it's a no brainer. Go with your heart.

As nice as the Ibiza is, it's no Supra ;)

Hmm.

If you reallllly want a supra, go for it.
If its just flavour of the month, wait a couple of months to see how you feel about it.

It has been on the cards for awhile now.

The problem is. the ibiza is the perfect car for me.

It is cheap to run, quick, looks decent, relatively practical.

But it just doesn't have the excitement factor or wow factor.

Both of which even my old non turbo had.

I know it is a head over heart and 99.9999% of people will think I am mental.

Try not to demolish any local old ladies fences if you buy another one.

Also if you do get one, don't get a crap none turbo!

Like saying why buy the WRX not the STi? Which you tell at me constantly.

Did you crash the old one?

Buy something cheap and rwd to learn the ropes first before going all out on a TT, s13 200sx should be pretty cheap!
