Its a great boots advert, funny and smart. Sure it could be seen as sexist, but 99% of things that are funny are discriminatory.

These adverts have been annoying me for a while now, it's not just Boots that do it though there's plenty of companies happy to take a pop at men who wouldn't dare do the same to women.
ashatron - I don't see it as funny or smart, as there's no laughing, no comic moment and no comic timing. It's clearly there as a "women are superior" message which we're seeing more and more in the media.

Carry on believing whatever random prejudices are popular against any particular group, if that's what you want to do. I learned long ago that it's almost always pointless trying to argue against that. You've had years of socialisation and consider popular prejudices to be the truth as your default position - how can I change that in minutes? Waste of my time writing it. Waste of your time reading it.
You're stating that all people of one sex are superior to all people of the other sex and that it is scientifically proven (because you heard it is). I'm not going to change your mind about that.

Since the dawn of time TV ads have made men out to be morons and women superior.
If it was the other way around there would be uproar and there would be women throwing themselves in front of horses up and down the country.

women dont do much dirty stuff, meaning they dont get exposed to much bacteria, meaning they get ill more often building up a natural immunity over time.
Men, do dirty stuff, so are used to it, until some bad-ass bacteria get inside them and it disables them for 24-72 hours.
Note 1: This probably isnt true what so ever.

More nurses are female. Last i checked wiping the poop off of someones backside is a fairly dirty and bacteria infested job
More women change nappies, clean up the cat crap, clean the house than men, all dirty jobs bacteria jobs
More women work in childcare or education with snotty kids than men.
In retrospect men work as plumbers and mechanics and builders. Dirty yes, bacteria infested no.
