Am I the only one?

They've decided to stick to the ubiquitous WiFi symbol, and the battery indicator is indeed a battery graphic, and yet they've replaced the signal strength monitor with 5 seemingly arbitrary dots. Everybody and their grandma knows what signal bars are, and yet they've thrown that convention out of the window. It would have actually made more sense for the dots to be the new battery indicator since that's how they light up down the side of a MacBook.

I need to stop looking at this UI because it's boggling my brain.

Been using it more today and there are a few things that I think needs changing.

Notification Center: If there ever was a time for swiping between tabs it would be this, having to reach to the top of the screen is just stupid. It still has the annoying tiny 'x'. Having tabs in the first place just isn't ideal I find. However the today tab is pretty nice.

Control Center: It is a bit too many things crammed together, and not very consistant. The top toggles are all circle, the quick launch apps are squares, the air drop stuff is completely different. Just feels a bit of a mish mash of everything.

Safari: This is a big improvement but wth do the icons at the button mean, no other apps have them that minimal and the share button just seems to be different for no reason(I thought it might have been a button to take u to the top of the page).

Apart from that I am really enjoying it, its currently on my dev phone at work so I can't really take it out of work or anything and so on but its a great step forward. IF they iron out most of those small points before release it will be great.
