Am i wrong?

respect? get over it tbh. if my younger borther tried to do that, especially after already rolling a nove thru somebody's garden ( ) then yeah, id probably do the same thing.

Man that's real low. People like you dude.. Blah blah.

Yea, he's such a scumbag. People like him are the reason this country is going to pot.

Whereas people who'd batter somebody instead, or just ride off on an unregistered, untaxed, uninsured bike for which they don't have a license? They are the way forward man, yea!

thing is, you posted here how you grassed your brother up, and your getting negative replies. yet if you had of posted how your all for him moving the bike, you would have got negative replies also, so your in a no win situation :)

Word bro', you so gangsta.

I would like to think that shopping a family member to the police is low, i cant see the brother being too thankful for it.

Maybe you should have warned him that you were going to go to the police, so he could have arranged for it to be all legal before he moved it.

Going behind his back is just snide

To be honest I couldn't say. As I don't have a ****ing retarded brother who's blatantly a scumbag. Tell him he's a **** from me.

Although shopping him behind his back is low, tell him you've done it.

Exactly, i dont think it was a low thing to do either, the guys a cretin in society and needs keeping tabs on. Many of us would never have to do it, but the OP is clearly in a sitchuation where its his best choice.

All these Soprano's wana be's will be kicking themselves in the future when they get into the big wide world.

He knew where i stood on it, i even offered to register and tax the bike over a year ago if i could use it for short tuns to and from work while he was away but he refused.

Tonight, i even offered to do a straight swap, his unregistered 125 for my old 1.4 golf, he refused.

He has had 2 years to "legally" move it, and hasnt.

Well, that's a bit silly isnt it.

Tbh though it really is low. There will have been hundreds of options rather than going to the police. Stealing the keys, giving him a clip around the ear etcetc. I certainly don't think that it would be a good idea to ride a moped around with no licence/tax/insurance. But no way would i grass on my own brother. It would have to be something rather serious to warrant that kind of back stabbery (murder, rape for instance).

Yea, he's such a scumbag. People like him are the reason this country is going to pot.

Again, more than a little silly.

Of course the OP is not the reason that this country is going to pot, but then neither is a kid riding a moped 6 miles home without a license.
On second thoughts back stabbery and underhandedness though might just play a small role in the demise of our gentlemanly nation.. But not much i wouldnt imagine.

Tell yourself that when said kid hits your 10k car, cant pay for the k's worth of damadge hes done, and the courts cant deal with it because theyve got to many other more seriouse problems and are to over stretched.

In normal circumstances I would say this was very lame, however he's obviously done things to warrant the OP going to the police. Unsure what I would have done in the same situation as I don't have a brother (just a ***** of a sister).

You're obviously in a very tricky situation, i think you did the right think, but you're never going to win, its going to take an awful lot to shake him up.

Good luck, i hope he straightens himself out,

For the others, it sounds like he's not exactly going to drive slowly or carefully, and whose to say if he's done it once he wont try it again for fun....

Fair enough dude. But then i did post a few preferable cures (stealing the keys, giving him a clip around the ear).
Just think it was a bit raw getting the police envolved at this point n all.

There above 16, i think when your dealing with adults, things get a bit more seriouse. Just because its his brother doesnt mean his brother shouldnt be treated like an adult.

No dude, but it does mean that he should be treated like a brother.
Which pretty much means doing anything that you can not to let him get on the bike. It doesnt mean setting him up in some kind of police trap..

If there dad has convictions for motoring offences and the brother is going the same route and has already rolled a nova into someones garden then honestly sounds like a lost cause - take the hard route and go to the cops everytime.

I feel sorry for you MNuTz, tough call but the right one imo.

Our local paper has a whats been in court section every week, for those youd usually get a £200 fine and 6 points on your non existant licence.

Well done OP, sorry to say it but your brother appears to be a bit of a loser, he needs some direction before he hurts himself or others.
