Yeah that and youtube tat hahaIt'll almost certainly be fine for purely gaming. Get it, find out the spec and try it out.
In the current market 32GB of DDR4 isn't cheap.
I don't know yet, it will probably be a 5500 or 5600x. I'm trying to do it cheapish, its a bang for buck rig shall we say. I'll spend the bit extra on the bits that are worth it.what are the other specs and how much are you paying for the rig?
for example, 16gb with a 3600 is acceptable, 16gb with a 5800x3d is less than optimal
16gb is borderline, but in these times of inflated pricing...will just have to make do
i've seen your numerous threads now.I don't know yet
Then 16GB is fine. If your board has only two slots then I would even venture to say get a single 16GB stick of some well-known, easy-to-find ram that you can pair up later for 32GB, but that's even more of a "take a hit now for a better deal later".I'm trying to do it cheapish, its a bang for buck rig
its fine. also you can pick up another 16gb 2nd hand pretty cheap. As the title, is 16gb of RAM enough for gaming at 1080p?
I don't know the specs yet as I haven't got it other than it being AM4. Just in general, wondered if I needed to be thinking about upgrading the RAM as well
Ah great idea thanks, never thought of anything like thatUsing utils like shutup10++ and winhance to get rid of windows 11 bloat and spyware will save you lots of RAM.
I've got an old pc I had connected to the TV, changed the processor to a 5600, now going to get a GPU a do a gaming PC for my daughterAre you doing this bit by bit, starting with nothing, or simply looking for a good gaming experience for as little as possible?
Do you need WiFi? If not the Sapphire B550 is only £80.
You could go with the Ryzen 5 3600 at £55 second hand from a well known second hand High Street retailer. Comes with a guarantee. It's on par with the 5500
