No it is me losing my marbles, the CH is not so bad then really considering its the King of AM4 boards.

I've been waiting to pull the trigger for a few weeks now but the motherboard instability and memory stuff scares me.

anyone else like that?

The new tech is looking promising but they have some teething problems; the memory speed support, lack of software optimization and now the strange temperature reporting 'offset' issue. Yeah, I'd wait for these to mature and get better support tbh.
