Hi Guys

Recently I've been inundated with the below requests

Dear friend,

I am writing to you for a possible future Amazon review cooperation.

Our procedure now is like this:
First you need to go to Amazon and order the item as the attached pictures.
Then you get back to me your order NO. and then we pay the money to your Paypal account.
You don't have to spend any penny.

If your are interested in this cooperation and have no problem with the procedure above please reply to this email.

I will tell you the item link for you should order later. (
Jenny

Clearly a scam? Or .......

Jenny....see if she is single first then proceed to see what you get :)
Lol she seems really nice I might send her all my cash first then ask if she's single :)

Seriously I've been getting loads recently, trying to block them all is a nightmare

No, it's how they do it now. Apparently Amazon are really cracking down on companies sending our freebies, so this is how they do it now.

Just yesterday I placed a £60 order that I should be receiving a Paypal refund for today or tomorrow. The way I see it, it's very simple to send things back to Amazon if they don't pay. I've only done this a few times so far and like you, I thought it odd when I first started getting these offers. I did talk the first one into paying me first, then I ordered.

Yeah I have done this a few times, car chargers, phone holders, bluetooth headphones etc. All paid me first then I bought the items.

Yes I'd be up for freebies but they all want me to pay upfront then give me a refund? Like that's going to happen.....

I managed to get into the top 500 reviewers, I’ve always been unindated with these refund by PayPal requests, I’ve only accepted twice both several months back. Last week Amazon wiped all my reviews and took the ability for me to review products away. I’ve sent emails asking why but I’ve been ignored.

Did a quick Google search and seems there are plenty more like me so be cautious, I think Amazon are setting a few ‘traps’. You’ll know when you’ve been hit as the minute you click on the stars to vote/rate this message will pop up...

Sorry, we are unable to accept your review of this product.
Your previous review of this product did not comply with our Customer Reviews Guidelines. Amazon does not permit reviews from customers whose relationship to the product or seller may be perceived as biased.

I do the reviews for you. If the order number you send me and 50% of refunded monies, I post lovely review.

how's it a false reputation? it seems on the face of it a genuine deal - they're not saying "we'll only pay you for a 5* review"?
But generally people try to be nice and positive when they got something for free. Even unintentionally - if you just got a freebie, of course you'll be in a positive mood looking at it.

Glad they are cracking down on this stuff too.
Soon as you see 'the item was provided...' its pretty much spam

how can you tell which are the paid ones? and how [and why] do you have multiple accounts?

You can lookup their profiles, nobody buys as much as that. You can also tell “ I was giving this for an impartial review etc etc “

I have multiple accounts because I purchase on three separate companies. Why do you ask?
