Can always rely on Amazon to give you something when they mess up though.

Ordered 2 bits on Saturday that should have been delivered yesterday, a couple of hours later 1 item has a delivery date of Tuesday so I sent them an email £3 knocked off that item, woke up Sunday morning to an email saying the other item had been delayed shot off another email £10 gift voucher.

So in the end £17 worth of stuff cost me £3.

If you'd run it through the system tehy would have simply shipped you the correct item when it came back into stock, and picked up the mattress.

I had something similar happen to me a couple of weeks ago.

Depends on the size of the mattress, I would have just kept it/passed it to someone else (if it was any decent).

Only 3 years late

The shield has been remarkable stubborn on price though, maybe if the rumours of a new version coming out are true then old stock may come down a bit.
