Amazon Prime delay?

Yeah I can appreciate that but refusing people going to the depot to collect and refusing to take phone calls, even from other DPD staff seems a bit backwards.
They'd be getting abuse from emergency services if they were telling people to collect and causing local blockages, it's considerably more sensible to just hope that people can be a bit patient. Their systems will be in a mess because of it all too, so no use getting wound up that someone else got their stuff first. If your package was unfortunate enough to be amongst the first failures and cancellations, its probably buried at the back of the depot and will need the place emptied before they can reach it again.

True, just want my upgrade goodies, was hoping to have it built by this weekend
My order via Yodel was next day but Yodel insisted it was for the 28th, was fuming, it was at the Middleton depot, they taken it out of the van because it was backfilled or something, and no help at all on their chat, they wouldn't even let me collect it, I contacted the company I ordered from and they rekoned it was due to the weather (rubbish) but they themselves contacted Yodel and they then agreed to let me collect it, so I got on my bike and cycled 10 miles up hills to collect it. So jobsworthy are Yodel!!!
