Amazon prime sale tomorrow - Moderator edit, no competitor discussion please

It went for £99 starting around 7:30 I think.

It was a great price for it, as I paid £160 a year ago and it's really good if you've got a complicated set up (especially with the ability to use your phone/tablet to control it).

I snagged one at that same lightning deal price back in the black friday sale last year. It was one of the items they featured ahead, so it went almost instantly.

I ended up with a pretty good deal in my opinion.

The Bose in ear headphones reminded me that I wanted a pair of Quiet Comfort 25's.

They're not in the main sales, but because I was feeling "cheap" (still lots of pennies) I went looking in the used and new. I've never had a problem with Amazon Warehouse stuff so ended up picking up a pair that were described as "as new with bashed box".

Upon adding it to my cart there was nothing obvious that it was part of any deal, but when I got as far as choosing my card to use it ended up taking £34 off because of the Amazon Warehouse discount that's running at the moment.

They go for £269 normally (a bit too pricey for me) but Warehouse had this pair for £228 which I figured was doable. But then this Warehouse 15% off deal took off an extra £34 quid.

So yeah, paid £194 - happy with that.

Wasn't a complete bust for me yesterday.

Managed to nab a Microsoft Band at a price I was hoping it eventually comes to. Should arrive today so let's hope I don't get the buyer's remorse... not that it's a problem with Amazon purchase.

Let's face it, some people here are looking for PS4 for £50, XB1 for £49 and 60" OLED TV for 50p.

It's no good to them if they are giving away books and socks for free because at the end of the day that's not what they wanted to be in the sale.

So the stuff they have in the sale are never going to be "bargains" purely for the fact that it wasn't on their radar.

The Issay Mayaki aftershave was good value, so was the Logitech remote, as was the 48" Sony LED TV (£599 online elsewhere) was £399, the fire stick was £19, the Sony RX100m2 was £279, that costs £350 even from The Far East.

Didn't buy the 55 gallon barrel of lube then? :p

well i am not looking for such a pointless sale, dont think anyone is infact

My point is, unless I wasn't clear, just because the items are not to your taste, there are still savings to be had and it wasn't crap and pointless as you put it. Even though I didn't actually buy any of the above listed, I can at least appreciate when there is real savings.

Of course there are ALWAYS going to be items on there that doesn't suit everyone, that is a given, but it doesn't make it crap and pointless to everyone else which was what you implied with your answers, only when I redirected to the fact that it is still savings for other people is when you put on the caveat.

Wasn't really anything of much interest.

I did buy the Trigger Point Performance Roller though, fair bit cheaper than it's ever been. I've been meaning to get one for a while after trying one earlier in the year, great for muscle relief if you do a lot of sport.
