Amazon prime sale tomorrow - Moderator edit, no competitor discussion please

Shimmy, actually have a roller (Got one a few months ago) - Always use it after doing back and shoulder work when I get home. I want to say it gets more comfortable the more you use it but I'd be lying. The crunching sound I make (Is why I'm generally stretching more) makes me giggle.

Worth the buy, weird.. But worth it.

Got the Sony 50 inch w805c. Comes tommorow. Will update it and see if it suits.
I was planning on getting a lg 55 oled but may use the money saved for a better suite, as I'll be moving into my new build next week.

Yeah I know what you mean, I was super sceptical before trying one for the first time but was soon impressed.

I ordered a Fire Stick about 00:15 yesterday and selected slowest post to get the £3 of Amazon credit for Music/Kindle books.

The Fire Stick already arrived this morning!

:)

US people all saying US version of prime day sale was a joke. Amazon staff apparently all called in to do overtime to 'cope' with the massive influx with none of it being a problem. Again old black friday was say having something like a Xbox One at £200 instead of £350. Now instead of 20 killer items with huge savings, they think 500 items with marginal savings is 'better' somehow.

I actually bought loads of stuff, though the max saving was something like £7 on a mouse, 42 down to 35, same on headphones. I also got a Wii U, a 2TB portable hdd, a book and a blu ray. Of everything the blu ray was the only thing I wasn't directly looking for, was just on the look out for something for the parents.

The Wii U was cheap in so far as it was £185 down from £225 or something, but in reality they were just somewhat matching an Argos deal. The argos deal was actually quite a bit better but as it was collection/in store only for someone with limited mobility and no interest in the extra 4 games it came with I went with Amazon.

Nothing except the mouse and headset were prices I couldn't find elsewhere on the net, maybe not all on the same day, but they weren't stunning prices. The only reason for the mouse/headset is because they were cheaper presale prices by a freaking mile than anywhere else in the uk to begin with. So even if another store has them in the weekly sales section for £7 off, it wouldn't be close.

I saw the BenQ XL2030T go down from £299.99 to £209, by the time I had spent 20 seconds logging in and pressing the buy button, all had gone and I was added to a waiting list. Doubt I will get it, probably all end up on eBay making a profit from them xD

I assume it may have been a bit of a fizz. I ordered a pair of trainers - not part of the sale and not a prime member. Delivery estimate free super saver delivery was for 7 days away. Arrived this morning on the courier - maybe the warehouse staff weren't that busy and orders were rushed anyway. Good for me and saved on delivery too!

bah... son of a *****. Not a minute or two after posting I got like 94 (potentially slight exaggeration) e-mails saying item out for delivery followed by item delivery failed :(

Slightly awkward address, sometimes delivery drivers don't understand it, sometimes they do. Not played a Mario game properly in at least a decade and was really god damned excited about today... major disappointment now :(

Managed to get Amazon logistics to call me but having a driver go back isn't done in this day and age... even when they've made a mistake and in Milton Keynes it's literally going to be a 3 minute drive to get here. It's really the only town in the UK a delivery driver could easily detour and retry a delivery without screwing up their schedule.

The UK one sounds a lot better than the US one. 99% of the stuff on sale was crap that you'd buy whether it was on sale or not (a wrist splint, bunion regulator, finger puppets, throwing tomahawk, granny pants, $11 reading glasses, seatbelt cutter, nail clippers for large dogs, etc). There were a few good things in there but they sold out in seconds. I got on the wait list for a 55" 4KTV but had over 500 people ahead of me.

It was the equivalent of OCUK hyping up a massive sale and only selling things to 'vajazzle' your phone.

Oh there was a lot of crap on the Prime Day sale in the UK too, some decent items though, Yeti Mic came up but I am looking for a 3.5mm jack mic so passed on that, the BenQ monitor came up, few games and blu rays etc, watches and the like.

Couldn't really pay attention to the items though as I was at work so checked during lunch to see what was coming up.

For the love of.... missed delivery of stuff yesterday, I was in, would 100% of heard, at the time it was either they didn't bother or they tried the wrong address. Told they couldn't try again so was waiting for it today. Today all the deliveries update as being delivered to a Mr Swami, the resident at 8pm last night.... wtf. So now have to wait another 24 hours for them to track it down and then probably do a new order anyway... which may or may not make it.

Mr Swami is not even close to my name, it was also clearly not at the right address. I got another item delivered via Royal Mail and asked the postie if he knew who lived at the other awkward no.2 who my stuff often gets confused with and he said it definitely wasn't Swami's there. So god knows where my stuff is.

I now have a Wii remote plus.... no numchuk and no freaking Wii U and probably won't get it before Monday now IF I'm lucky and if everything is in stock :(
