Can't fault amazon's policy with faulty goods. Brought a Xbox Elite controller back in November and it might have an issue with the left analog stick, sometimes up/down does not respond in Fifa(might just be Fifa). Quick online chat and they are refunding me for the controller.

Doesn't seem unreasonable - if amazon deliver alcohol they ask too, it's part of the process.

Was wondering if their much advertised new Alan Partridge podcasts, are worth listening too.


Was contemplating some purchases from Wish, having previously used aliexpress without problems,
what's the wish deal on pricing ? the google shopping listed prices for wish are not the same as you get when you click on the link, is there something deceitful about them.

Have a look on Youtube, there's an entire following for Wish, where folks order things and see what they get. Every order is effectively a gamble. Good for views, awful for expecting anything you actually ordered.

I haven't bought a Gillette product since then either, plenty of alternatives these days. If you want to be rude about your customers don't mind if they go elsewhere.

Ebay is worse you used to be able to pick up half decent stuff but its absolutely flooded with knock off chinese tat thats even more expensive than exactly the same tat sold on Amazon.

This is a known thing though. If you've ever seen those ads on YouTube about how you can "make a billion pounds a day with Amazon and I only made this video to help others not because I came up with a winner and am making millions of pounds", that's literally what they do. They list Amazon stuff on eBay with a mark up and when it sells, they ship it straight to the buyer.

There’s some alcohol which I want to buy on Amazon. Though need to be in and show ID to the courier is baffling. As I also have wine ordered online with a wine retailer and don’t need to show ID when case of wine is delivered.

Wish Amazon have something in place that all people in the property are adults so no need to seek ID and ability to deliver to lockers.

We should probably just let anyone buy booze in supermarkets too, what could go wrong?
