Amazon Prime TV

it looks like Amazon has got a whole bunch of Nick Broomfield documentaries on prime:

The Leader, his Driver and the Driver's Wife, His Big White Self, Biggie and Tupac etc..

worth a browse if you like documentaires

Best TV series I've seen on Amazon Prime has been Bosch, a fictional police procedural set in modern-day Los Angeles. It's been renewed for a second series. AFAIK it's Amazon only.

Yes that is Marlo and Lt. Daniels from The Wire.

yes - it was superb - think it was all episodes done over 2 nights!:D

I'm pretty sure that only the first series of the american office is on there isn't it? disappointed as it was always my go to programme for a bit of background when doing something else and its recently been completely removed from netflix.

Is it me or is the uk netflix going down the pan a bit lately?

UK Netflix are not renewing their contracts with the movie suppliers so they concentrate on their own stuff.

More movies will disappear over time and we will be left with Netflix made stuff and stuff you get on iPlayer free.

How long does it generally take for the other seasons to hit Prime? Still waiting on The 100 season two and just noticed The Walking Dead only goes up to season five :(.

Season 6 is only just airing now - you can buy episodes just after they air but will have to wait about 6 months for it to appear on prime.

Oops :o I meant it only goes up to season 4. Not sure why they don't have season 5. I checked Sky and can watch 5 and 6 through on there.

took a look at Walking Dead - I'm not really into the whole zombie thing as almost every film in that genre you find yourself wanting to shout at the screen after the actors just carry on doing really really retarded things... Walking dead isn't too different in that respect, they do so many dumb things but the acting is good and in some ways they have to do stupid things in order to get the suspense/drama etc...

walking dead is getting even more frustrating.... just so many stupid mistakes

then again it is addictive and the acting/direction is good - still an enjoyable series despite wanting to shout at the screen on a regular basis

Quite enjoyed Red Oaks, felt like a mix of CaddyShack and The Wonder Years.

yeah - sort of a homage to a few other 80s movies too (John Hughes films etc..)

Working my way through Vikings, just started Series 2, a great series (S1E4 was so, so good) but a couple of things **** me off about the way Amazon presents it.
Firstly, that the "box" picture for series 3 has a prominent image of Lagertha (so I know she doesn't die or otherwise exit). There are others in the picture, but I've avoided looking at who.

Secondly, that the episode descriptions all seem to reveal what happens at the resolution of every episode. I've had to force myself to not read even a single word of them to avoid spoilers. Particularly annoying when you need to figure out which one you've got up to. Really stupid.

WD is ridiculously over rated...however i've invested 5 years into it and feel the need to see it through :D

What really annoys me is zombies appearing out of nowhere without a sound as soon as someone needs to be killed off. The rest of the time they stumble about, groaning away. Someone needs to die, suddenly they're silent as a ninja.

oh there is so much that is annoying me - just the lack of planning in general

they'd avoid so much crap if they'd just stopped and planned stuff and made some basic rules/SOPs

that farm location was pretty much perfect and with a bit of planning and perhaps clearing out a secondary location as an emergency rendezvous they'd have been fine

Apparently Fear The Walking Dead is much better, waiting for it to hit UK screens
