Amazon Prime TV

I got rid of sky a long time ago. Just so darn expensive. What is it £50+ a month? With everything movies, sports etc £90? christ .

I get all of that for £45 a year.

Do watch some prime shows but mainly prime delivery as above. Can't beat amazon on delivery. As long as purchased from EU Sarl. Can have replacement the next day before you have even sent the old one back. Sorry OCUK :).

Yup, I pay £47 a month for everything other than sports, so with my phone and internet it's roughly £100 a month.

Can you view programs available on Prime without an account? My wife would like to know if The Orginals season 3 is available (free with Prime)?

When I search online for this series, I get it up on Amazon, but at cost.... :(

If it doesn't say it's on Prime then it's not on Prime.

Just checked and they are £1.89 for standard definition and £2.49 for a HD stream, per episode. :)

bump...

this is worth a watch... seen the first 3 episodes so far - lead actress is Elvis's granddaughter apparently... rather easy on the eye and does get naked. But that aside the acting is decent, looks to be a reasonable drama.

***warning though the trailer isn't NSFW (in terms of nudity or anything) there is a general 'adult' theme to this series***

Working my way through Vikings, just started Series 2, a great series (S1E4 was so, so good) but a couple of things **** me off about the way Amazon presents it.
Firstly, that the "box" picture for series 3 has a prominent image of Lagertha (so I know she doesn't die or otherwise exit). There are others in the picture, but I've avoided looking at who.

Secondly, that the episode descriptions all seem to reveal what happens at the resolution of every episode. I've had to force myself to not read even a single word of them to avoid spoilers. Particularly annoying when you need to figure out which one you've got up to. Really stupid.

Reveals are the bane of my life, I don't want highlights of the next episode appearing as the titles go up as an episode ends, I don't want a little synopsis on screen telling me what's going to happen in EP 6 either.

Drives me crazy, constantly having to mute the TV or shut my eyes or hit pause, squinting before I click play for the the next episode.

It's not just Vikings it's Peaky Blinders, Versailles, Gomorrah and everything else.

Enough with the reveals, I don't want to know what's going to happen before I see it!

LEAVE ME ALONE!

:D

Gave up with Prime - too many things that me and the family were wanting to watch but required payment per episode - I'm not talking new stuff either.

Just using Fire TV with sideloaded Kodi and apps now. Shame as could have been so much better IMO.

I'm quite upset. My work benefit of free Prime video and Lovefilm has ended. I have a FireTV and really like it, and now have Netflix free for 6 months through a new Virgin contract. Trying to decide what to renew. They'll reimburse for Amazon Prime or Netflix, so I guess Prime is the way forward. No Lovefilm though :(

Wondering whether to pay for Lovefilm myself or just rent movies from Prime as I want to. If I watch 2ish a month that's pretty much the same as Lovefilm..
