Ambulance driver being prosecuted for speeding!

I was under the impression that he was caught by the cameras, what's more disgusting is the double standards in the law here. He was flashed in both Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. Cambs turned a blind eye to the offence (Medical emergency and all) whereas Lincs council have said that Organ transplants are not classed as a medical emergency and are thus prosecuting him.

I did hear that he had something like 12 hours to get the transplant there but IMO the sooner the better!

what can i say this makes me ****ing sick! The guy was driving at over a ton in the middle of the night, in a vehicle suited to the job! Oh and he's doing it to save a life...

How many accidents are caused by speeding police vehicles, and how many police cars get caught by gatsos and not prosecuted? They should get their own family in line before trying tell others what to do.

Isnt it just the one local authority pressing charges as he got clocked by another gatso in oxfordshire and there not taking any further action. Something about the car not being used as an ambulance as the organ is not classed as a person, surely this should highlight that this law needs to be changed as organ replacement is a vital part of saving lives. Why not ask the friends and family of the person he saved by getting the organ there?

How many times do i see 4x4's monstering along at 110mph down the M40??? those are the bloody dangerous drivers out there, driving a motor completely unsuited to the purpose it's being used for.
