note the voltage too :)

Dual-prime?

You know that's a single core chip, right?
yes indeed! :)

24 hour Dual Prime (small FFTs stress prime & large FFTs prime95) is a great way to trash what was thought to be a stable overclock.

If someone is happy with 32MB super-Pi as proof of a stable system more fool them.

For a dual core system to be solid in my books I am pioneering the 24hour *quad-prime* technique (2x small FFTs stress prime & 2x large FFTs prime95).

Its personal choice I guess, but speed is nothing without stability, its a nice feeling to know you can through anything at your overclock and not have a system crash/freeze. . .

So there is scale, on one end you have the CPU-z suicide shot and the other end is the 24hour dual/quad prime.

Bit of a pain having to validate rock-solid overclocks, but once its done you can clear away all the testing tools and enjoy your new beast!

bah that was a benching system.

how can i say this politely -------- stick stable up your behind :).

i didnt claim 3.4 to be stable never will.

32mb stable is waayyyy overstable for a benching system imo. if it can be stable for 24mins then its not on the bleeding edge.

i used to do 3d mark runs where it was touch and go whether it would make it. numerous restarts later and you get a high score :)

HT : HTT x 3? (870)
RAM (FSB): 186.4 (in cpuz, but 193 in bios?)
RAM Timings: 2.5-3-3-10
Vcore: Stock (1.375v in cpuz..?)
Cpu Cooler: Artic Cooler 64, using 90mm Akasha "orange" fan ('cos orginal fan broke :( ).
Motherboard: Epox 9NDA3
Case: Antec P180
Stepping CBBLE 0512DPBW

Can't get cpu to run at 2.7ghz reliably (no matter what I do!) or get the memory to run above 230 without using very, very slack timings. Using pair of corsair CMX1024-3200C2's....so decided this was the best compromise for heat, performance etc. :)

Not one person had showed a decent stability screenshot. Cmon guys get with the program, what is this all about an ego trip or attempting to share your overclocking experiences with the overclockers.co.uk community?

If these overclocks were shown to be stable and stepping information was included then this thread could rock, as it stands its a farce :p

Show me a person who doesn't care about stability, and I will show you a person who doesn't know how to create a stable system ;)

You can post your screenshots here don't forget to save them as a jpeg or the dialup crew will be in pain.

Save the suicide CPU-z screenies for www.xtremesystems.org

Mine wasnt a suicide screenie it was my day to day running speeds.

I consider total speeds much more impressive to be honest and stability is in the eye of the user, if the person wants it for a server or something then sure it needs to be pretty damn stable, if you want it for benching then as long as its stable for whatever benchmark your running i dont see the problem

I dont care about stability apart from bench stable. yet i can create a stable system

I have a pc that has been 100% cpu load for over 30 days without being turned off for maintenance.

you sir, need to get off your high horse.

my dual core is also stable at 2.75, but i really cannt be bother to run prime for 24 hours just to show you. it hasnt crashed on me in over a months running. thats stable enough for me :)
