Just starting to tinker.

All I've done so far is initial set up i.e expo 2, scalar 10, pbo +200 / -20 curve, Asus AI optimiser on and silent fan curve (Mobo Asus B650E-E)

Interesting to see the the AI optimiser has set the infinity fabric to 2133Mhz. Memory read speed in Aida has increased considerably

Also with PBO on CCD0 cores 0-7 (V-cache) are running at a maximum of 5675-5720Mhz and CCD1 cores 8-16 (non V-cache) are running at 5795-5925Mhz

Would be nice if it could get to 6ghz, I like round numbers :D

I'm not sure if it necessay to enable the game mode to disable CCD1 or the new setting "gaming adaptive CCD parker", or "core tunings configuration for gaming"? I presume virtualisation should be off and SMT on ? And what about CPPC?

Only ran a few benches so far - Nomad, Timespy & R23, but each one has had a slightly higher score (2-3%) than 9800x3d, except R23 Multi which was 86% higher.

I downloaded Ryzen Master to check to see if core parking is working properly and happy to report it is on my Gigabyte Aorus X870i ITX Pro Ice Motherboard on the latest chipset drivers.

What's your cinebench mark scores?

Can you show your effective clocks by any chance?

I've just installed my 9950X3D, getting 40808 in Cinebench R23 - all stock (apart from ram expo), does that score seem on par ?

Think I got about 1k more with just EXPO enabled. The 41's seems to be about the norm but obviously other factors can reduce the score a little. You're close enough to not be too concerned as run to run variance could add a few hundred points.

Good afternoon all, hope everyone is enjoying this chip. I tried to install Ryzen Master to check core parking in that program and no matter what I've tried it doesn't install. I believe task manager is showing me the correct details and so is resource monitor so for now I'll continue to use these. I don't really like RM hence the reason I don't use it.

Testing with black ops 6 in 4K I seem to have some of the performance cores coming into play. Now usually I'm mostly GPU bound in this game so I'm thinking the performance ccd is detecting the extra load and 'waking' these? Performance doesn't seem to be affected the game runs silky smooth.

Best score I have managed with R23 is 45,563 with a -40,-40 CO. -30,-30 I got 45,054. So you have some headroom left

What do other games do?

I have just been playing Path of Exile 2 and everything is on the X3D. If I summon a portal then this will cause the other CCD to fire up and then it settles down again. Does is it play OK?

I'll have a go on something a bit later. I didn't realise to check another game. How many cores does your other CCD fire up? In resource monitor the 2 waking cores will keep switching from active to parked. I've not put that much time into monitoring as of today so will see how it plays again later tonight but earlier it seemed to run perfectly fine with way better minimum lows.
