AMD Advice

I think they class them as C3, but not certain.

Well we have the same board i think and what a great little board it is :) normally buy DFI boards but seen as there are very few about went giga and its certainly a nice bit of kit.

Fantastic board aye. My doesn't have any vdroop at all, completely straight line in OCCT! As a result I can get 3.8ghz stable only using 1.525v, used to need 1.55v on my Asus board and it still wasn't stable because the vdroop meant it would drop as low as 1.475v. Gave up overclocking on that board in the end, utter rubbish it was.

Is your 1090t maxed at 4.0ghz or could you clock it higher?

4ghz was my first attempt at clocking... using 210 fsb so its what I would call my safe clock. as of yet I havent pushed this baby any further.

just noticed AMD price drops - 1100T is only £12 more than the 1090T now... I guess that changes things a bit.

yeh, been keeping an eye on our suppliers prices and the X6 BE chips seems to be going down by £2-£5 a day over the last 3 days, so must be getting ready for bulldozer
