Hello everyone,

Our Catalyst 14.3 Beta driver and the Thief patch by Eidos Montreal, which features our Mantle and TrueAudio technology, are available today. The patch will automatically download on PCs that have the game installed already; you can download the beta driver from here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx

In addition, I’m happy to inform you that we have also included the fix for the audio Vsync bug you have reported. I’d like to thank you again for your patience and a special thank you to those of you who have provided me thorough details about the bug – very helpful :D

Please remember to check out the Feature Highlights and the Known Issues sections for more information about this version of the driver.

thx for letting us know warsam :)
the casual way it mentions we should dust off our occulus rift tho lol

i would like to know what are the best type of headphones to try trueaudio with ><

When it says:
■Secondary GPUs do not enter low power state on CrossFire configurations; this issue will be addressed in the next AMD Catalyst beta release
Does this mean 2nd cards in Crossfire or 2nd cards if you just had another card to run a secon monitor?
What about 3rd and 4th (not that it affects me)?

When it says low power state does that mean 2D clocks or is that when the card sorta turns off when ULPS is enabled?

When is the next BETA release likely to be?

One would assume it applies only to Crossfire setups, not setups with multiple cards for additional displays. Secondary would imply all non-primary cards, meaning 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. The low power state would presumably be ULPS, as that disables secondary cards in Crossfire when not in use.

I presume the secondary GPUs not entering low power state means ULPS is broken. Not a problem for those people who disable it anyway, but this will annoy the OCD-geek in me if I know my second GPU isn't switching off when it should be. :)

Will have to install these and give them a try when I get home tonight, make dinner, do the washing up, kick the youngest off my PC, and finally get some time on it to install the drivers. Don't grow up kids, it's a trap!

Anyone check if these sort the xfire issues with Titanfall?

Known Issues
Intermittent driver stability issues when installing/un-installing on Desktop Kaveri platforms that support AMD Enduro technology under Windows 8.1. Please disable Enduro support to resolve the issue
Secondary GPUs do not enter low power state on CrossFire configurations; this issue will be addressed in the next AMD Catalyst beta release
Thief (DirectX): Lighting flickers on CrossFire configurations only after CrossFire has been enabled then disabled; this issue will be addressed in the next AMD Catalyst beta release
Battlefield 4 (DirectX): Quad CrossFire configurations with Eyefinity Display configurations suffer slowdowns and stability issues
Titanfall: Flickering occurs under AMD CrossFire configurations

Nope
The game forces you to run 60fps anyway you shouldn't need Xfire for this.
