AMD Driver problem lol

A group policy is using a hammer to crack a nut for single users.

Do what Firegod posted earlier and just make sure to do regular manual driver updates.

While that is true - unfortunately what Firegod mentioned is not a sure fire way to fix it due to MS making changes - while for some reason it still controls driver updates for some people as I've mentioned many times MS changed the functionality of it hence the description change:

"Do you want to automatically download manufacturer' apps and custom icons that are available for your devices?"

Serious?

It tells you. Using the linked MS article, do this:
  1. Press Windows + S keys together to open Search
  2. Now type Device installation settings
  3. Click on Change Device installation settings and then select the option No (your device might not work as expected)
  4. Now click on Save Changes
Then AMD says to reinstall their software / drivers afterwards.

Jobs a good 'un.

i decided to give this a go. Now ever time i boot i get a message in windays saying i need to reboot to updats PCIe bus... when i go back to Device installation settings and reenable the auto update the message stops lol.
