AMD end driver support for everything up to and including the Fury X

They've also promised ongoing bug fix updates for it, meaning it isn't even actually dropped. Maybe read more than the headline. It's hardly the same as AMD ending all driver support for cards from mid-2015.

Or better yet stop subscribing to WCCFTech, They're like the tech news equivalent to CNN. :cry:
 
You guys are mad, try getting support for your car mate those things are a scam. But a brand new car, take it to the dealer 1 month later, tell you you need a software update that will be 2k thanks
 
Completely disgraceful from amd. It’s business though. They want there current gpus to sell for as much as possible for as long as possible. This is there way of keeping these inflated prices going for that little bit longer

How is it disgraceful?
Support at some point ends all manufacturers end support at some point.

If you want better support going forward you need to end ties with dated stock.
 
The only thing that sad about this is the time they choose to do it. Right in the middle of the current shortages. Outside of that, I cannot see what the big deal is. The cards aren't even fully DX 12 compliant if I recall correctly. So these old bangers would properly be a poor fit for the upcoming Windows 11, and it's not like the currently available drivers would stop working. I'm sure there won't be any more performance to drag out of these old GPUs anyway.

You know the cards don't suddenly stop working just because a company drops support right?
