From the article:

Lastly, here is the first ever GPU-Z screenshot of Radeon R9 Fury X. Note the bandwidth is wrong (should be 512 GB/s) and ROP count is incorrect (should be 64) — I’m sure W1zzard will fix it with the next release.

Good spot, would that mean the 'Pixel / Texture Fill rate' are wrong also?

24th seems so far away right now lol.

In your original reply you asked if this (ROP number) also affected the texture fill rate number....was just noting that TMU is the number that affects texture fill rate.

Yeah so what you are saying is that if ROPs are 64 / 128 Fill rate won't be affected as long as TMUs are 256?

I think 256 TMUs is confirmed, it's ROPs that we aren't 100% about.

I think £550 will be the base price, what he's trying to say for EG is:

100 Fury X's @ £550 all sell out, new stock arrives a few weeks later, because demand is high they can put the price up, people will pay whatever AMD ask if the card is in high demand.

A £100 price hike though i'm not sure, depends just how high demand will be.

He said stocks for launch are really low,and will be priced accordingly(£600-£650).So they will certainly sell out in mintes
Pre-orders will also go live for £550,and people will get their cards as the supply arrives over the coming month/s

Yeah if there is a hike of that much at launch I am happy to wait until there is better supply and prices.

No point losing money in selling the Titan X and then paying over the odds for the Fury X as well. Will keep rocking the Titan X until I see a good price on Fury X.

They reckon inbetween 980 and Ti, would be impressive that.

Better than 980Ti performance and only 175w on 28nm process and out in a few months?

Pigs might fly.

LoadsaMoney was saying performance in-between the 980 and 980 Ti, not better than than the 980 Ti.

Now we know the 390X beats the 980 in a fair few benchys. It's highly likely that the Nano will be in-between the 980 and 980 Ti like LoadsaMoney said.

G1 is faster than pretty much anything, it is no regular 980Ti with such high boost clocks out the box and also cost more than other 980Ti's.

However bear this in mind Maxwell drivers are far more mature as Maxwell has being around for nearly a year.

Figi drivers are still very early so a driver update from AMD could transform performance, I am using 15.15B9 driver with Fury X.

Nice one, looking more like I'll just stick with Titan X until a die shrink.

What I like about Fury the most, it runs so cool it's crazy, sub 40c at all times, complete silence and it looks absolutely awesome, also zero coil whine as well.

But yes the card is very cool, so I can't see why voltage won't become unlocked unless of course core voltage could potentially damage the HBM, but I doubt that.

This is appealing though, sub 40c while gaming. That is pretty epic.

Its exciting, probably the most I've been about GFX cards for a while. I'm hoping this is a return to form for AMD. I've been on the green team for the last few generations, but I have a soft spot for AMD and will be happy to support them if the product is good enough.

That 980Ti though, its calling to me...

Hopefully someone here can answer this, can the fan be switched on the radiator? Read some things saying that fan has some kind of groove so may only fit one way?

If can switch fan around could use as intake like in pic below. I'm using CM 690 III case. With front HDD cages removed.

Top and rear are occupied by H105 and single 120mm fan, radiator wouldn't fit as it H105 takes up some space. Single 120mm fits fine though.

Only other option would be exhaust at bottom of the case, with little room under the case for fan to push the air out of, would this work?

I have similar, but i will just install the Fury X at the back, and put intake fans at the lower front and the bottom

It would work - your gonna need some dust filters on the bottom though :S and you'll have to make sure your pulling enough in from the bottom which the filters won't help with (might require having a fairly high speed fan) i.e. something like https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-055-NB

Cheers, yeah the rear isn't an option as the H105 + fans means I can only fit a single 120mm at rear as exhaust fan.

The bottom of the case has a dust filter for PSU and Fan, fan filter slides into bottom.

Would have to reverse the front intake fan and have FURY X plus big front fan exhausting heat out the front and H105 and rear 120mm fan exhausting heat out of top and rear, with cool air coming from bottom of the case, like Rroff says will just have to crank up the fan speed.

Still not sure what the best way is, just if I reverse the Fury X fan I'll be pulling hot air into case, saying that I'm doing that already with Titan X + AIO, so maybe it won't be a problem. Just trying to figure the optimum setup. Gonna take case apart and give everything a clean before installing Fury X perfect time to change fan config.

Tried that with my 295x2 and it was crap. You're probably better off mounting it to the front intaking and letting the rear exhaust and top exhausts deal with the heat it gives off. You're already liquid cooling your cpu so shouldn't make much difference overall.

*EDIT*

Just seen this post, yeah that's how my Titan X is setup. But hinges on whether the Fury X rad fan can be reversed. Some posts I've read suggest it only goes one way. Be great if Gibbo or someone could confirm you can turn the fan around?
