I was thinking of getting 2 x 780s or 2 x 9970s, but really am considering 2 x 7990s. Would that be silly though? I'm guessing Crossfire doesn't scale that well?

Probably be better off getting a single 7990 or even 2 x 7970s.

Or maybe I'll just wait...

Warranty is not good enough unfortunately, who knows in the future maybe, but they can't compete with MSI quality.
