After seeing reviews on anandtech and the like, I'm quite interested in getting one.

Does any body know when they are coming to the UK?

More than the US. Remember too that Fusion covers both Ontario and Zecate platforms, the latter being the beefier. Retail price seems to be $350 to $500 depending on spec/make. Waiting to get my hands on an x120e myself :)

Anyone else also think that Lenovo are doing an absolute terrible job at marketing the ThinkPad X120e?

This netbook is supposed to be released in 2 weeks yet there is no new information from Lenovo at all! No conformation on price! Not even a webpage which outlines it's specs in stone.

This netbook turned many heads at CES! would have thought the marketing gears would be well and truly moving months ago to get this netbook noticed and have people talking about it.

Search on Google and you get nada! Just the same rehashed videos from the many lame video stealing sites.

Shockingly bad marketing right there!

I agree! Shocking - but im still gonna get one :D

There is a holding page for it here (has Intel promo graphics for the AMD chip lol!), and the current word on the street is that it's out on the 15th so fingers crossed.

I'm not surprised. Get the media machine rolling in CES, announce availability 'in about a month', get hit by 'delays'. I've seen that pattern before. But I'm still a sucker for it.

So yeah, suspicious. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't make the claimed launch date. They are awefully quiet about a machine that is suppose to relegate netbooks to the bin (well, we'll see about the price).

The Toshiba NB550D-10G is already on the webpage of a large computer and electronics retailer in the UK.

Also, you can already get the Zacate based Asus E35M1-M Pro motherboard at some retailers too.

Whhhhhhaaaat? The X120e isn't coming to the UK?!

I have just contacted the UK Lenovo sales number: 0800 1691451, and was told by the assistant categorically that the Thinkpad X120e would NOT be released in the UK, or elsewhere in Europe. This is a big disappointment to me, as I was looking forward to this model arriving.

Apparently this is because the Edge 11 is expected to sell better. Sadly this model has the 'trendy' high gloss screen which I hate.
