AMD FX-9000 - FX-8770 CPU's.

The FX 9590 is hardly going to get a 3930k quaking in it's boots.

It is not often you can say this about intel CPUs but the 3930k is half the price of the FX 9590.

+1, yes they have lost the plot again, charging this kind of money even the AMD boys should agree on this one, its just a modded FX8350.

AMD use to give value for money, this is how my son's and l got into computing. But not this time, they need to get their act together.
 
I have no idea what Intel are playing at with only having an i3 at the FX6300, and then having nothing upto about the FX8350.

Perception amongst gamers is so far on Intel's side, largely thanks to uninformed drivel spouted on forums, that they don't seem to need to try in that section of the market.

Edit; also, 215 squids for a cherry picked 8350 sounds OK. Interesting to see how high a 9370 can clock with water cooling on a decent board.
