This Raptr thing is pants.. keeps telling me my valid email is invalid so i cant even verify my email address.

No specific knowledge about raptr - but check for whitespace at either end, quite often breaks email validation things. (that or having a '+' in your email)

Agreed, the quality is superb, GVR vs anything else is already like night and day, its hard to see where much improvement can be had.
 
Its much better than last time, but still not smooth, and laggy, with lots of screen tearing for some reason.

Will upload the file tomorrow.
 
Just uninstalled this crap.. i gave it quite a few hours of my time just to have totally wasted my time on it.

It struggles to stream to Twitch (when it actually works, quality is **** poor) and it seems to slow my computer down (i noticed a difference as soon as i'd uninstalled it). I know u can disable it but the tracking options is way too much and is all on by default.

I sent them a message saying that they need to employ the OBS devs.

Rant over.

Sorry it didn't work out.. I have no issue with it.. I have recorded and streamed couple games and been asked on how I got the quality so good and what I have used etc.
I didn't use it on a 7000 series though so not sure if what you getting is bugs with that GPU series.
 
Raptr seems to make my computer black screen (R9 290 Crossfire).

If I run a game with Raptr loaded, I'll invariably get a classic 290 black screen within about half an hour. Without Raptr, I don't get the black screen errors.

What games? And to stop this do you close raptr or after uninstall it?
 
It's happened in Metro, Mass Effect 2 and Far Cry 3 (got a huge backlog of games I'm working through). Most recently Far Cry 3 after I installed the Omegas and decided to give the Omegas another whirl.

Simply closing Raptr before playing a game seems to remedy the issue. I might try a fresh install of the Omega drivers, following an uninstall / DDU, this evening.
