AMD GRAPHICS DEALS = 6900 XT @ £899, 6800 XT @ £649, 6800 @ £589, 6700 XT @ £449, 6650 XT @ £379 and 6600 @ £289

Exact same CPU I got, with 32 gigs DDR5. I came from an ancient PC that died, otherwise I would waited until end this year for raptor lake and new gpu's, as it stands I was forced to upgrade early, but REFUSED to upgrade the GPU, but soon!, Oh and I upgraded from a core i5 4670k (2013 quad core, no HT) and 8 gigs ddr3 ram....LOL, night and day performance difference is a HUGE understatement!
yea I had a 4670k and 8gb ram also :D it still did pretty good in gaming with a 980ti though, I played cyberpunk on high settings at 1080p with like 60fps but I did turn shadows off

I've not really played any games since upgrading my cpu apart from World of Warships, my cpu usage dropped from 60% to around 5% in that game lol

I bought an ultrawide monitor the other week though so probably will feel the weakness of my 980ti but there's literally no games coming out soon anyway...

I just installed mad max and death stranding earlier both old games.... why would anyone upgrade a GPU during a stale gaming time? is there even anything good coming out before starfield

Well as you know my PC is up to date like yours now, 12700K, 32 gigs DDR5 etc etc, just that old 1060 6GB still plodding along, I am holding out for end this year upgrade to new Gen, perfect timing for me, as I look forward to Diablo 4 coming early next year, beta will be late this year so perfect upgrade time. No way the 1060 will cope with 1440p, especially not at 240hz....

I tell yeah, anyone who has not done so, STOP neglecting your monitor, it's the biggest visual upgrade you will notice, the Samsung G7 has been amazing to me, the curve is perfect, so immersive, the fluidity of movement in any game, at any FPS, browing, youtube is a dream because of the refresh rate....Don't skimp on your display!
