yea I had a 4670k and 8gb ram also it still did pretty good in gaming with a 980ti though, I played cyberpunk on high settings at 1080p with like 60fps but I did turn shadows offExact same CPU I got, with 32 gigs DDR5. I came from an ancient PC that died, otherwise I would waited until end this year for raptor lake and new gpu's, as it stands I was forced to upgrade early, but REFUSED to upgrade the GPU, but soon!, Oh and I upgraded from a core i5 4670k (2013 quad core, no HT) and 8 gigs ddr3 ram....LOL, night and day performance difference is a HUGE understatement!
I've not really played any games since upgrading my cpu apart from World of Warships, my cpu usage dropped from 60% to around 5% in that game lol
I bought an ultrawide monitor the other week though so probably will feel the weakness of my 980ti but there's literally no games coming out soon anyway...
I just installed mad max and death stranding earlier both old games.... why would anyone upgrade a GPU during a stale gaming time? is there even anything good coming out before starfield
