AMD Nano watercooling MiniITX final build

Hi all,
I made a post a few weeks ago telling people about the Nano watercooling build I was going to make for my daughter. Sorry it took longer that I expected! Some parts were impossible to come by! Also the installation of the Nano waterblock was a pain, not because of the Nano... just the first time I have installed a block onto a GPU! Please have a look at the pics below and tell me what you think! I rushed the pictures, however I can take better more professional ones if need be!

SPECS
Modded Single slot PCI-E Parvum Veer 1.0
EVGA Stinger Z170
Intel 6600k with EK supremacy water block@ 4.4GHz
AMD Nano with EK water block and backplate @ stock (Coil whine is present, but it is also present on 980Ti so no too bothered even though it is a little more noticeable on Nano)
16GB 3200MHz Corsair RAM
240GB Kingston HyperX Savage SSD
EVGA 600Watt GS power supply with Purple/White extension cables for PCI-E and Motherboard 24-Pin and 8-PIN connections

Haha to be honest I'll likely use it more as she is not even three yet! I built my son a PC for Christmas last year. He's now 4 and can access Netflix by opening chrome and clicking on the Netflix shortcut all by himself!

When I was young I taught myself everything and anything associated with PC's as my parents didn't really have a clue. So I thought I'd get them started young and they can be computer literate at an earlier age than I was!

Obviously as they are still young I am very strict on what they see and do on the PC's, but as they grow a little older and wiser that will change and hopefully they will start to build their own pc's

Hehe yep its amazing what they can pick up. Give them an iPad at 1year and they have it mastered before you know it.

I should bare this in mind as an excuse for the mrs when I want a new system

Is it me or does it look like it's on life support? Lol. Not trying to knock your set-up because i like it and it looks cool to me but that's what i first thought when i saw it! Nice setup!

Next time I would definitely advise investing in some 90° rotary fittings

However it still looks good.

But please peel those stickers off the EK logos!

There I was reading this thread and expecting your daughter to be at least 11 or 12 with a machine of that spec and good looks.

I'll have to remember that the next time I go for a build. I built my lad a gaming PC when he was 11 for Xmas as we had no end of trouble with dying Xboxes and PS3s....unfortunately for me he uses it all the time and I dont get a look in.

On a brighter note I did manage to upgrade mine a few weeks ago so I am not so jealous now.

Lovely looking machine....it does look like some kind of clinically clean medical unit though. Maybe you could put a Red Cross on the side of it or the words "Human Organ for Transplant".

Not spending a massive amount on 90 degree rotary connections when I just did that for my 900D build

Wanted a cheaper build this time

Haha I didn't notice that before but I can definitely see it

Oh well I guess a PC that looks like it can save lives is better than one that does the opposite

Looks fab but I have two questions:

1. Why the EVGA Stinger? It's a brave choice considering their Z97/Z87 ITX boards.
2. Is it not possible to get a Fury X under water for the same money (but more performance)?

Please don't think i'm knocking it, i'm not and it's a fab build, i'm just interested.

No problems I'm glad to answer questions! I chose the nano as I wanted a little more space for tubes and was thinking I could get a larger tube reservoir later down the line. And it looks damn cute. Also I thing if I bought the FuryX 'd be lazy and leave the AIO cooler on. Ultimately this isn't a build about performance it was a build using new and cutting edge components and the nano is certainly cutting edge if not overly expensive

As for the EVGA Stinger it was the only Z170 motherboard I could find in stock. Now you have mr worried... Are they prone to issues?

I haven't done any major tests yet or much extensive OC on CPU, but saying that I ran Prime95 earlier and got around 60-65c on CPU and 40-44c on Heaven for GPU. That was when there was a small kink in the tubing though, so might be better since putting on the smartcoil.

Also the pump is almost silent at around 50% power and the fans are at around 30%! Trying to keep it as quiet as possible.
