AMD "Never Settle" 12.11 Driver - benchmarks

It was 1350/1950 (from memory) and didn't even break 12k GPU score, though I did test with 12.7, Perhaps 12.9 gave a bump as does 12.11.

A long shot but maybe ECC was kicking in?
Retest when the new drivers come out for confirmation.

Agreed. No where on tinterweb can I find those kind of scores but who knows. Time will tell

They could have been using one of the many 'optimised' custom drivers available, regardless if that chap can hit P14K with a 3770K @ 5ghz with a 7970 @ 1300/1750 on vanilla beta 12.11's then so can I.

Does anyone know if it solves any of the issues with 2 or 3 card crossfire setups? (Or have they been solved, I've not been keeping up to date?)
Can't say I care about benchmark settings at all (I'd rather go Nvidia for PhysX, even though not much uses that it would be more useful than benchmarks), but if it's making a significant impact in games that's a different matter!

It may be legit, remember those Matrix scores we saw the other day, with the card hitting 13K+ GPU score with only a 1300 core, in all probability that was using these 12.11 drivers...

Trifire is a dream now, EVERYTHING works with 12.9, needed a slight work around for overclocks.
I'm sat here with one card @ 25c and the other 2 completely off, unless 3d is active, I even set profiles for the likes of firefox not to trigger 3dmode. Love it.
Even two 7970's are overkill, but three is just something my brain can't comprehend.
Heck even 1 feels like overkill, for single monitor at least.
With all that said and done though, nice locky!

Have you got Saints Row the Third? My 2 get 90% usage over on both at 1080p and struggles to hit 60 most of the time.

This has thrown all my plans into disarray ! I was going to buy a Nvidia 690 and then thought well I could save money buy buying a Nvidia 670 and Sling at a later date. Now I am thinking about crossfiring 2 ATI 7950s and getting all these free games as well ! Decisions decisions

I've had problems with all the betas, probably due to CF? Seems to mess something up, looking forward to these 12.11s though...benching BF3 again that's for cert (oh and 3D11 lol
)Well i have tried the beta (couldn't wait) and found around a 50 point increase on Heaven benchmark using Tess+normal AA+4x etc basicly the standard we use for benching on here.
That was on my stock clock tried 3D mark 2011 but it can't connect to the server at the end!
Wehether thats their end or the driver i don't know, so yeah io would wait!
