AMD "Never Settle" 12.11 Driver - benchmarks

Just re-run the Unigine Heaven DX11 3.0 Benchmark after updating my drivers and the results were quite a significant increase. Run at exactly the same speeds i went from a Score of 2079 to

okay confused what are 12.10's then ? whats newer 12.11 or 12.10 ????
is 12.10 a fixed version of 12.11 ?

well just tried the AMD beta 12.11 from their site and deffintly an improvement.
Out of 3 tests on my stock clock of 1000mhz 1375mhz i was getting between P8520-29 with 12.9, with these stock P9284 a 755 point increase i'm happy! on 3D mark 11 by the way.
Also can you use the cap 12.10 on the 12.11 betas?
thanks

presumably no, 12.10 cap will be included in 12.11

What's great is that in the 3D mark 2011 results at the end of benching it's now putting my results in the next graph along ie overclockers results, this is on stock, what I mean the highest graph in your results is usulay what most people are getting because they are running stock so the further left you go on the graph the better, I have never seen a driver do that at stock! I'm sure that will change once everyone gets the drivers though and that becomes the stock graph haha.

12.11 beta My 6970 is down 1.3 fps on heaven from 12.8 and 12.9 beta bleh this is a drop on performance for me as long as it's stable and no explorer crashes like 12.9 beta I am happy though.

I'm noticeing the results on these drivers stock 3D mark are what I was getting with my card overclocked! My stock is 1000mhz 1375mhz overclocked 1150mhz 1500 mhz.

So basically they could have probably improved older cards but cant be bothered as it's all about selling new cards that is my theory anyway seeing as this gives me a 1.3 fps drop in performance.
Gonna try 12.10 now and see if it's still 1.3 fps down on 12.8 and 12.9 beta

It would be nearly impossible I'm guessing to have a driver that improves performance across 2-3 series. It's all about the architecture and obviously they are going to try and increase the newer cards the most to get sales anyway.

Hi I think people are saying the 5 and 6 series have been pushed to their limits so physically the hardware can't be pushed anymore.

Lol just watching some flash and my cards at 900/1375 that isn't right think i am done with ati now enough is enough cant even make the 2D/3D clocks work right after all this time

Heaven Bench OC 1100/1500
12.9 score 1876 min 33.7 max 158.6 avg 74.6
12.11 score 1908 min 12.6 max 164.3 avg 75.7

About Half way when switching it dropped to 12fps but I dont think that was a driver issue another run will tell me.
Some game testing next.
