will it cost around £1000 tho.. not I don't think so.. likely around £250.00

will be good to see the comparison between the six-core AMD and the 920 D0 in multi-tasking aps.. the six-core will be 125W so with adequate cooling should match current deneb clocks

I doubt that this is true today. This used to be the case in the early P4 implementation.

I'm the same - basing everything on current phenom x4's the x6 will just about match the 920 in 3ds max (my main reason for quad/hex cpu's) so it's all down to cost and heat output which way I go with my next rig as the likelihood of a cheap hex i7 is slim
