AMD OWNERS ONLY what cpu do you have

When you try and tell someone they must be wrong about there own experience of something and then doggedly stick to that when they say "no i'm definitely sure about that, i should know" then yes, it absolutely is.

Maybe he is having a good time with the chip, But I can guarantee he'll see better things coming from his second rig 90% of the time.

Some people need to continually get their point across though. Even if it is completely irrelevant.

Question: What AMD CPU do you own?

OcUK CPU poster Answer: This is a stupid thread, and really you shouldn't own an AMD CPU. There's no point and at every price point they are beaten. I am always right, and I'll express this opinion every 4 or 5 posts, whether you ask for it or not.

i see this has turned into an intel vs AMD war when it wasn't the point of the whole thread.

And it was AMD owners who did that, 7th post ;

You need to look back on the thread, as it was a nice discussion with no real issue, until the OP injected the venom himself.

Sorry, I should have said "Typical OcUK CPU poster answer. :P

Why the need to attribute blame though.
"It was AMD owners who did that"

Why the need to point the finger? It was clearly pointless bickering between owners of both.

You must have missed where I was getting attacked, while praising AMD's Phenom II line up.

I "ruined the thread" with my "trolling" and "sarcasm"

I wouldn't call praising AMD bickering.

Probably feeling the need to defend himself considering how people like to single him out so often?

I'm not even sure where the singling out has came from.

this is the first time i have seen childish bickering over hardware on this forum. I don't understand why people jump on other people backs for Choosing AMD, its their choice and they are entitled to it. We all know Intel is the chip because we see it endlessly in benchmarks but some people just want an AMD. Im an AMD owner but upgrading to Intel soon, only because i want to, ive not had any problems with AMD for me to warrant an attack on them and brand them rubbish. the only thing rubbish is their heatsink fan.

did you read the thread? no one is jumping on anyone for buying amd, its amd owners getting upset when someone has an objective view of bulldozer, and given the wealth of factual evidence around bulldozers performance and that this is a cpu forum, its hardly surprising, they keep putting fuel on the fire though...

Yeah i hate there heatsink fan too.... hehehe... perhaps we can start an AMD heatsink fan haters club? :D

@ Zuban, give it a rest.

Can I just make something clear.

No one has a problem with AMD

They have a problem with the Bulldozer

The performance it offers at its pricing point is matched or outclassed, Even by AMD themselves.

So to sum up

AMD = Good
Intel = Good
Phenom II = Good
I3/I5/I7 = Good
BD = Mediocre
