Currently sitting on my Phenom II 965BE still at 4Ghz.
Runs every game released flawlessly, and no doubt will keep doing so until 2014. Any upgrade from this CPU would be a complete waste of time for games. Why run an i5/i7 at 5Ghz only for it to die in a years time for 2-3% FPS gain in games? Seems retarded to me!
I paid a total of £330 for this rig (mobo+ram+CPU+GFX+PSU+Cooler+Fans) and had it over 1 year now.
Still yet to come across a game which this won't run on max (apart from AA which you don't need at all @ 1080).
