AMD PC Build Final Check before order.

Well from the picture above from left to right starting from-

Bottom-
Big Screw(havent fitted screw in) Big Screw

So basically I fitted 7/8 screws. sorry for the darkness lol.

Well on the mobo there about 6 big ones and 6 small ones they all have A next to them. There are Cs aswell but those are not necessary in terms of fitting it in.

As for the Screws, I fitted 3 Big ones, and 4 small ones.

The CPU Cooler hasn't been fully fitted as you can see on the pic(had to take the HDD out) myt just wait for my 2TB hard drive/or myt just leave it out to test it. and sell my old IDE drive I guess cos the 24-pin power connector was in the way when i try to put the IDE cable in.

Just installed the wireless network card, last thing is GFX card. after that Im ready to turn on and test it. shall I install windows 7 64 bit first? and then the motherboards CD?

You'd need to install Windows first, before you can install the drivers for the motherboard devices. Also, I think you'd best go on Asus's site and look up your motherboard and download latest drivers for the devices, instead of the god knows when drivers that are on the CD.

Ok I'll do that, basically Im going to use HDMI so do I plug it to the HDMI on the motherboard(onboard graphics) or onto my graphics card when Im installing windows. and I'll install the latest driver for graphics via AMD site aswell. so I'll forget using the CDs?

Many thx

So got everything installed, and its working very well and feels so cool inside just a little warm. need to sort out the cables when I have time, What is the most acurrate monitoring CPU temp software and what degrees shud I be looking at?

Heres some pics I just took, I'll download that software now. Well my PC has the PSU fan,CPU fan, 80mm Exhaust fan,120mm Front fan(blue LED love it at night) and GPU fan on it. so I would expect it to be very cool :). I'll try and download the software now. not planning to overclock CPU/GPU I'll see how it goes.

I'll upload the readings on coretemp here is this ok? soz bout the quality

30 to 33 degrees if im reading right so that's all good?

do I need to install the prime65 cos Im not planning to overclock yet?

cheers

Damn...if I knew you were gonna get that case, I would had warned you not to :(

It doesn't even support 120mm fan for exhaust...when your CPU is under load, your Gelid is most likely gonna dump heat into the case at a faster rate than your 80mm fan can exhaust...

Really think you should have gone for a better case or a i3 2100 build now (since it is half the power consumption of the Phenom II X4 955BE when under load, so it will generate much less waste heat).

Oh no lol I actually bought that case two months ago should have bought along with my other components on here, yeh it doesn't have can fit a 120mm fan for the exhaust which is why i put an 80mm one in. Although I saw that there are 80mm to 120 mm fan adapter, so does my CPU temp looks ok though? would everything be running fine for now.I mite consider buying a different case from here at some point.

thanks again
