AMD/PCGamer E3 2015 thread

Hopefully this PC Gaming livestream will be good - heard MS are going to be there, possibly some announcement related to the emulator used for backwards compatibility on Xbox one? Would be great if that was extended to Windows 10 to allow us to play 360 games! But that's probably too hopeful...

That would be Incredible! Especially as my 360 just nuked and I miss forza 4 lol....fingers well and truly crossed

Despite Microsoft beating Sony in that regard and being good sports, I still haven't forgiven Microsoft until they show they can take PC gaming seriously and not just sideline it to their damn XBONE. This sort of backwards compatibility would put Microsoft back in my good books and a purchase of the XBONE would be guaranteed. I can move on from the 360 safely knowing I can still play those great 360 exclusives without having to fork out for their cheap BS remasters.

But there's quite a few companies at the PC gaming conference, so Microsoft won't get much time. Considering how they didn't really mention PC at all during their own conference, my expectations are low. I'm expecting to still hate Microsoft after the PC gaming conference. 'Only on Xbwacks Wun' my ass.

Oh I knew that. Sorry if it didn't come across in my post. That backwards compatibility alone makes the XBONE a more attractive console than the PS4. Microsoft beat Sony at backwards compatibility.

Also, the stream starts in 8 minutes, but the show itself starts in an hour? What'll they do for the first hour? Show off R9 300 series benchmarks? *I wish*
 
The guy speaking now, not actually sure who he is. But he's got the kind of voice/enthusiasm and is just well spoken and easy to understand, AMD could do with someone like him to take the pressure off the more tech oriented guys at the earlier event today. Have this guy have a script, questions to ask and some of those guys who looked painfully nervous earlier today would do much much better.

A good host/presenter can put guests effectively at ease and push them along in the right direction when nervous guys forget what they are meant to be saying.
