BUY NOW!

Congrats getting the chip on sale before everyone else (from what I can tell)

Any idea if it's the new revision with the TLB Errata fix?

Unsure, here's the info off the chip before I go home;

HD960ZWCJ4BGD
CAAWB AA 0747MPMW
1994395L70049

Will google it when I get home, unless someone beats me to it (please!) :D

Edit: The TLB bug may not be fake but it may only occur in certain conditions which are probably very difficult to repeat.
i wouldn't worry about the TLB bug.. you'll probably never see it...

i've been running the cpu since 24th december without any problems

Si, let me know when its B3 and when working CrossfireX driver for Quad Crossfire are out and I may be tempted. ;)

Hmmm seems interesting. It's kind of not that amazing, but not rubbish either. Sort of middle of the road. It doesn't make me go "ooooh must have that" but at the same time it's still got me considering it. Weird one!

I'll be building a Quad Core system soon, I was planning on getting a E2140 until Intel's 45nm Quad Cores came out.

But the other day when i was discussing my build with someone they said that the Phenom is better when all the cores are being used and the Intel Quad Cores were faster when only 1-2 cores being used which is why their faster in games as not a lot of games use all 4 cores.

Now the main stuff and programs I'll be using with my new build all make use of Quad Cores, so shall i be buying an AMD Phenom instead of an Intel Quad Core because of this?

Whoever you spoke to is wrong I'm afraid, a Q6600 or one of the new Penryn Quads will be faster than a Phenom chip, the reviews speak for themselves - http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=3153&p=11
