I *almost* pre ordered; but I'm going to wait for a custom-cooled version. That stock shroud looks frigging ace though!
I got my pre order in.
This 290X is supposed to be able to compete with the GTX Titan. But I hope its not £650, thats miles too much. If this thing is £400 ill keep my pre order, but 650 is too much man...
Also Gibbo I selected pickup from store for my shipping as I didnt fancy paying the extra £7 considering this only a deposit. If I do decide to keep the 290X order I have can I just say ill pay whatever it is plus £7 shipping to have it delivered?

Do we actually have any attributable reputable reviews? (I SLI/Crossfire atm so 7990's/GHZ's are complete dogs and totally unsuitable for my quiet builds)
Would probably feel better about switching back to AMD if these didn't look so awful and cheap.

Any rough idea how this card scores against Gtx 780 ? Heard it comes close to titan and if its about the same price as a 780 I personally woulnt mind one

Unfortunately not, with finance you have to spend more than £333.34, so you couldn't do a finance order with this graphics card alone. Unless it turned out to be that cost or more when it is announced.

Need that gif that shows a cat dipping his paw in hot water only to take it out and try again.....
I'm thinking about getting a 290x(if the reviews/performance is good, however not going to be getting the bf4 edition if all you get for the extra money is the game and nothing else(oc etc), also I'm not really planning on getting one for a couple/few months so this is a no go for me anyway.
