People still believe ASIC figures obtained by GPU-Z actually mean anything? I have seen too many threads with people getting higher overclocks on low ASIC scores than those with cards getting higher scores. There doesn't seem to be any correlation between ASIC score and overclocking, at least not in any meaningful way.

just trying to figure out what the problem is with my card, no matter what i do or how it clocks i get poor performance, ive tried various drivers and vbios's time for rma

LTMatt - what was the software you said to run to identify unstable clocks? I've just had a black screen on stock settings playing Borderlands 2

Are you undervolting? If so just add another notch of voltage.
OCCT was the program.

No mate, stock clocks & volts. I always reset the settings before gaming.
Any specific settings for OCCT?

It was probably just a one off snips.
Was that using auto fan or a custom profile?
Use error checking and shader mark 3, test for 15 mins. Doubt it will find anything wrong if you're at stock unless the gpu is faulty.

Can you run heaven 4.0 on ocuk settings and post results. When you say poor performance how poor?

i posted my screenshot in the heaven thread, 1080p extreme tess extreme 8x aa i get 52fps where as evryone else gets 60+ its still good performance but, its not exactly what its saying it is,

Fan set to auto mate - had it before, but put it down to my tinkering after switching my H100i fans around along with the base panel.

Running furmark with no apparent issues max temp is 82c (that's with 1150 core and 1450 mem) I just can't get my head round it, 1080p 8x aa tess extreme I get 52 fps score on heaven. Whenever I install any driver even with ddu or safe mode I get installed but with errors in yellow yet there are no apparent actual errors. Proper headache

I've had the same issue.
1. Remove drivers
2. Use Driver Fusion & CCleaner to remove any driver traces
3. Download & reinstall

Use a slightly more aggressive, custom fan profile via afterburner.
