Indeed i have, but atm i don't have enough PCI-E cables, i'm missing one and i can't fit the 3rd card because of a stupid design on the mobo

I'm waiting on Kaap to confirm im getting the right one, but i think it's an Asus Rampage. To be honest the spacing looks no better than the board im already using, but we'll see.

Yeah he did suggest one of those. Is that the same as the one i picked, certainly looks very similar. Asus Rampage IV Formula. - EDIT I think I'm looking at the wrong one Lol.

Noise is a bit louder than two for sure, mainly because card 1 and 2 are very close. If i could have two spaces between each card it would run at similar temps to my two card setup before. I could get away with running low fan speed with two cards, that is no longer possible with three cards. Noise does not bother me luckily.

If you're getting the RIVE, you may have more luck using the Black slot than I and others had.

This will allow better air flow for the cards.

The old style has a 5th 16x slot so good spacing if you can get it to work properly.

Nice one and yeah that's the one I'l get. I'll fire you a trust now to make sure i order the right one as Kaap's afk atm. So is the black slot as X16 with two other cards in the system?

Hmm, that's a shame. I'd probably want all cards on the same X16 slot ideally. SB-E is only PCI-E 2.0 though isn't it? Kaap said he as a 3970X i can buy off him.

It's inbetween real 3.0 and 2.0
You wouldn't get all cards 16x regardless mate, only 2 the 3rd card would knock the lanes to 16/16/8
