They are come with the FREE games which sweetens the deal further. :)

This is tempting.. Already got a 144Hz Freesync screen so would be decent for me :)

Those games make the deal sweet as they are all really worth having.

I seem to remember the Vega's being power hungry. Can anyone confirm please what this would need? Is there any app out there that would show me what I am using as is?

Thanks.

Are the Vega cards going EoL soon? Isn't this below cost (after removing VAT) or something, given the production costs that were mentioned when these cards came out.

Gibbo any reason Ocuk didn’t offer the Acer 27 XF270HUA? Or did it reach EOL?

Really nice IPS 27”/1440p/144hz with a small bezel.
Granted Acer have a new offering out next month, along with their 4K right?

They are not EOL, the problem with VEGA is they are down turned the production simply because the profit is none existent and also the demand poor.

So people like Sapphire still make them, but they charge a lot more.
Powercolor have decided to really reduce their inventory and pretty much stop making VEGA as they feel it loses them money, now they can move production more onto their own product lines like chassis, Vega NANO (their own card, not official AMD product), RX series and I believe Powercolor will do some more work on their own sound card technology.

As with all things if you make and sell an item which makes low or no profit, to continue doing so would bankrupt the company and lets face it if we lost Powercolor AMD would be in a bad place, especially as XFX seem to be very quiet and none existent these days.

VEGA will also get a nanometer reduction, but of course it is believed it won't be consumer level and just for AI, corporate and professional customer bases. The big next thing from AMD is NAVI in late 2019. For now they can focus on the sub £300 market with RX series and from time to time bang out a few VEGA cards for good measure.

Gibbo's convinced me, Just bought one, Replacing my RX470 4GB Nitro+ Recently bought a freesync 32" monitor from OC aswell, I'm really getting into Assetto Corsa Competizione and hope this card will do a reasonable job for me. Its going with a Ryzen 1600, I like AMD :D

I don't know much about Vega but this with a Freesync monitor seems like a cracking choice for someone looking to make the jump from 60Hz/fps gaming without breaking the bank. Hmm, good stuff.

I'm in market for a new gpu but don't know much about Vega I'm afraid, how does this fair on a widescreen 1440p monitor? Mostly play PUBG.
Not playing PUBG myself but have a Vega 64 and a 3440x1440 monitor and it working flawless. If you want more information, go over here, to the RX Vega 64 Owners Thread, quiet a few people there have widescreen monitors, some might be playing PUBG as well.

Edit: ops this is Vega 56 thread, for some reason thought it was 64.

Vega 56 can handle 1440P easily, it will even handle 4k within reason.

From what I gather the 56 struggles a little at 1440p Ultrawide (if you're talking about a 3440x1440 resolution). You're better with a 64.

Don't talk rubbish, I am gaming at 3800x1600 with a GTX 970 and it copes, the VEGA 56 trounces the GTX 970, stop been a snob just because you like your giga rays enabled. :p ;)
