AMD RX 6000 Series UK Pricing ?

cynic in me just thinks these companies just release very few to to drive te early adopters into a frenzy, and by god it has worked, myself i always play the waiting game, bugs get ironed out and prices stablize and does me just dandy, i just ask myself why the need to be an early adopter?

Any idea what happened with OCUK pricing Matt? They where just flat out over charging £80 over the only other UK retailer to get stock today!?
I managed to cart one but I was born in Yorkshire, enough said!?
Lol. You would need to ask that question to OcuK mate, i have no idea.

If you want RRP, buy direct from AMD.

Think I'll crack on with Division 2 on my RX550 2gb on the lowest settings 1080p 50% res scale lol. It looks truly awful as its on my daily 32inch samsung 4K panel! Got my OCUK mat covering my ornament of a PC in the other room for now. My son isn't doing too bad, has my 3700x and RX5700, so he's doing better then me!

OCUK, with the blatant scalping yet again. They jacked the RRP price of the 6800 upto the 6800XT price LOL, and following that logic therefore had to move the 6800XT above RRP of the 3080 which it's meant to undercut.

OCUK, I truly hope it's not just me that takes my £££ elsewhere.

Early adopters pay high prices so the ones who wait can get them cheaper when the cream enough profit from the early buyers to drop the prices.

This is the way with all technology, a little patience can save a lot of money.

Right now everything released will be snapped up, then when that dies down stock starts to sit on shelfs and prices drop.

I recon the time to buy will be March next year as the Xmas and kid on January sales will be over, leaving everyone skint.

Scalpers will lose out in the end when punters take their other business elsewhere, it's not always hard to get stuff we need to buy.

As a fellow yorkshireman too right mate. This is OCUK for you. Always over charge where every other retailer does not. Nothing more than greed mate. Just going to be patient and purchase elsewhere when stocks normalise.

So £488 + 20% and say £50 for shipping? That's about £635.

May as well import if prices are going to be arbitrarily marked up so much.
